Job Opportunity – Engagement, Research Information and Communications Manager (maternity cover)

The University of Exeter Medical School are looking to recruit an Engagement, Research Information and Communications Manager (maternity cover) within PenCLAHRC.

The post-holder will be responsible for the management and dissemination of research information relating to PenCLAHRC's outputs.

Working alongside the PenCLAHRC Operations and Finance Manager, they will be a pivotal member of the PenCLAHRC Executive Team and will play a lead role in communicating and disseminating the CLAHRC's outputs in order to firmly establish it as a centre of applied health research excellence within the South West Peninsula's University and healthcare settings.  They will have line management and oversight responsibility of other colleagues working as part of this team.      

They will also be a principal member of the central PenCLAHRC Support Team, working closely with PenCLAHRC Research Managers and administrative staff from both universities in the collaboration as well as PenCLAHRC's PR consultant.  

Applicants will be educated to degree level and will have significant experience of management within either the research or health services environment.  You must be an effective and confident communicator with honed skills in organisation, negotiation and planning.
