This page provides more detail about the portfolio of PenCLAHRC projects. There are a variety of routes through which research questions become projects, but our adoption processes have the same three key aims:   

  • Conduct patient-focused research reflecting the needs of the public and the NHS
  • Support evidence-based service change for the benefit of patients and the public
  • Build capacity within the local health economy to generate and effectively use the results of research

The MYRIAD Project: Mindfulness and Resilience in Adolescence

This seven-year project, led by the University of Oxford, is looking at whether and how mindfulness training can be used to prevent depression and build resilience during early adolescence. Read more

INTERPRESS-IPD: Inter-arm blood pressure difference, cardiovascular events, cerebrovascular disease and mortality: an Individual Patient Data meta-analysis
