I became the Operations and Finance Manager in December 2012 after spending almost 2 years as a Project Facilitator within PenCLAHRC. I have a background in General Management, but in the last 4 years, I have undertaken more specific Project Management roles in both NHS and academic settings. Previous to this, I spent 11 years employed as an Army Officer specialising in Logistics and Supply Chain Management operating both at home and on active duty overseas. I attained a BSc (Hons) degree in Physical Education and Sports Science from Loughborough in 1995. I also obtained an MSc in Leadership and Management in 2018, with my dissertation focusing on the complementary and conflicting demands faced by University Academic Managers operating within PenCLAHRC.
